Hello All,
Grades are now posted. I have decided to change how things go: If you would like to receive your final project grade feel free to email me. I am not able to re issue the final exams due to other classes, so I will not be leaving a box in the office. I however, will be leaving the projects I do have from the few of you.
Thanks again for such a great quarter! Please contact me if you need any thing!
Take care,
h

Art
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences and being so unique with the projects. It was a very eye opening class. I have never had a class share so much about themselves and their life as this one. I learned a lot from the class and from everyone. I hope everyone continues their photo making. Herb, you did a great job (minus our madatory online lectures... sorry, I know that's not your call). Have a great rest of the summer!!

To This Class
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you guys for your ability to express. Art to me is air and I was able to breath deeply when I was surrounded by the class' works. I also would like to thank you for granting me the opportunity to open up through my imagery by creating an environment filled with acceptance and guidance. May life be your blessing and art be your miracle.

Tonight's beautiful moon - where's the picture scavenger
Before this class, I would think the first half.
Tonight, I naturally envision several of you guys (maybe ) hanging out with a huge shooting set-up, and the moon.
( Oh Yes! There is already a first project photographing moon and the light outside apt!)
That's a benefit from this class---
view the physical presence as it is --->
view though your guys' eyes.
***** A side thought of exponential contribution (if...)******
Honestly, I got reminded of contributing a typed-out on Frizz's perceptive observation. I wouldn't feel strange if I could see exponential contributions. Cause this is a good opportunity to THINK.
Oftentimes, I don't actively try to express myself or chew on the subject -- it takes a little time and brain outside my lazy comft zone. If I were browsing an entire gallery just by myself, I wouldn't have survived two afternoons every week.
Then here is our class together, critique and --- the very few minutes projects stare at me in silence --
MAKE more THINK happen.
(I'm glad to have the minutes again, to think more. )

Comment Flow
I assume that most in the class (including me) forgot that a blog post was due... I think it'll be interesting to see what everyone has to say all at once now that the time has come to do so. I vaguely remember someone posting something early in the quarter, then another one or two part ways through... now when (and if) everyone posts at the end it will be amusing. Like the number of blogs has grown exponentially over time. Quite similar to the reaction taking place in a Nuclear bomb, when first one uranium atom pops, affecting two or three around it, eventually half the group has reacted and then it only takes one more event to reach totality...
by the way, this was one of the most satisfying art classes I've taken. The critique dialogue was intelligent and understandable. Well done Herb
